Johnny swaggered into a bar, casting a disdainful eye around the place. His gaze took in the cheesy-looking interior, the even cheesier-looking women, and a few men who looked like they had steroid cereal for breakfast. Rolling his eyes, he sat down and tried to ignore the nastiness of the place, ordering several shots of whiskey.

A good half hour later, he was steadily on the road to fall-down drunkenness. Watching out of the corner of his eye, he saw a big-muscled man take the seat next to him, regarding him with a sneer. The man muttered something about "fags" and Johnny whirled around, jamming his fist into his head. After about 15 minutes of yelling, confusion, broken glass and a lot of rolling about on the floor, he emerged with a bloody nose and a bruised fist. He'd thought he was triumphant till he'd been grabbed by the bouncers and forcefully tossed into the sidewalk.

Breathing in the chilly air slowly, he tried to force himself to stay calm, muttering slurred profanities to himself and getting up off his knees with shaky legs.

That was when he thought he spotted someone he knew...

Johnny whined at the pillow being taken away, making a face at her.
"I promise if I'm sick I'll make it to the bathroom!I just wanna sleep in the warm covers...pleeeeease Allison...don't be cruel..."

He pouted deeply.

Alison unconsciously hugged the pillow to her chest, wrinkling her nose at his pout. After a moment, she relented, if only to get him to stop whining. "Fine, but at least wash your face or something," she grumbled, flinging the pillow at him before moving to the edge of the bed to tug her boots off.

He grinned happily.

"Thankyou!!" he told her, and triumphantly made it to the bathroom... in time to be sick again.

Knowing this was not going well, he quickly hopped in the shower, scrubbing himself down and cleaning off his face before drying off and climbing back into his clothes.

Then he contentedly, and somewhat less sickly, managed to get back into bed.

"You actually took a shower?" She regarded him with a somewhat irked expression, hoping that the towels in the bathroom remained untainted as she put her boots by the door.

Muttering under her breath (something that sounded rather like "my poor fucking shower"), she continued to pick up around her hotel room, kicking some questionable laundry under the bed.

Johnny decided to ignore her, burying his face in the pillow tiredly.

"Woman..!" he groaned muffledly. "Stop making all that noise!"

Alison scowled but didn't answer him, and to spite him, started being intentionally loud, stomping about and making as much noise as possible.

Johnny yelled in frustration, throwing the pillow at her and missing by a longshot. Pillowless, he whimpered pathetically, "Er...could you give me that back please?"

Alison whirled about angrily to face him when she saw the pillow fall to the ground some distance away from her. She shot him a dirty look as she wrinkled her nose, and then quickly snatched the pillow up.

"You want this back?" She stomped over to the bed, brandishing the pillow like a weapon. "Take it!" With that, she shoved it into his face.

He couldn't help but laughing at her anger over nothing, taking the pillow and putting it back under his head.

"G'night, love." he murmured affectionately, mostly to provoke her.

She huffed loudly, bristling a little at the affectionate tone he had adopted. "Pardon?" She climbed into bed with an irritated expression, casually hitting him in the stomach as she moved to the opposite side.

He grumbled something and snuggled up, doing his best not to touch her.

Alison rolled onto her side to look at him. "That's what I thought," she murmured in response, smirking slightly. With that she fluffed her pillow a bit and tried to get comfortable.

Johnny watched her covertly, his eyes glinting for a moment. He wondered if he should push his luck and risk getting kicked out the bed, and after she closed her eyes, began to twirl a strand of her hair on his fingers.

Alison stirred and opened one eye. However, she had already been dozing off as soon as she rested her head on the pillow, and though her eye was open slightly, she wasn't actually looking at him. She uttered a soft noise and her eye slowly shut again.

He cradled her head a bit, grinning and leaning in closer, seeing if she'd maybe cuddle into him unknowingly.
